Practice Philosophy
Since 1979 I have had the pleasure of knowing and treating many patients of all ages in James Bay.
As an indication of this long term stability and commitment to my practice, please read our staff biographies and you will appreciate that their loyalty can be relied upon as well.
My aim is to provide high quality, clinically appropriate care using only the best materials. In keeping with that philosophy, the office underwent a major renovation in 2006 and new Adec “top of the line” equipment was installed. In January 2010 we upgraded to new digital X ray and computer equipment which results in instant images with the added advantage of an approximate 75% reduction in the already low radiation dose per image. We are also pleased to be able to offer Botox treatment where appropriate for facial muscle problems.
I do not believe in trying to be all things to all people and therefore, unlike some offices, do not try to offer “one stop shopping” for all aspects of dentistry. Victoria geographically is a relatively small area and we are blessed with many dental specialists who are experts in their own fields. I therefore believe in order to offer my patients the best treatment available, I work in conjunction with those specialists to provide total dental care. For example, I have good working relationships with periodontists who will place implants appropriately so I can then restore in conjunction with an excellent local small volume dental laboratory.
